Friday iPhone photo dump

Don't forget to enter my Blush Beauty Mystery Box giveaway while you're here! :)

Today I'm linking up again with Jennifer over at Ramblings of a Suburban Mom for the weekly photo dump! This weekly post has gotten me to work more with my pictures... still hasn't gotten me to delete many of them! LOL!

It's a holiday week! WahOoooo!!

Like everyone, this meant lots of time spent with family and friends! We made the trek across Missouri to attend a family reunion, creating a couple of nights mini-vacay in St. Louis along the way! I count STL as one of my hometowns and lived there for 3 years of law school, so it's always fun to play tour guide and hometown tourist at the same time!!

Room with a view! :)

Beautiful country!

Part of the fireworks chaos!

Feeding the goats at Grant's Farm :)

Hubs and I celebrated our 12th anniversary this week, which always makes me think of this picture, which is my favorite of our wedding day! :)

St. John, USVI

My most exciting shopping adventure of the week came from a visit to the Gilt pop-up warehouse clearance sale here in Louisville. Working on a post on my treasures... OMG. It was so so fun!!

My pics are all so blurry! My hands were obviously shaking! LOL!

And the week included a trip to Varanese on a night out! Working on that post, too - lots of work to do!! LOL!

Nom nom nom

Excited to see how everyone has spent their holiday!! Here's a parting heel stretch and duck face from the gymnast... peace! ;)

Friday iPhone Photo dump

WhoooHoooo! Time again for the weekly photo dump with Jennifer over at Ramblings of a Suburban Mom! Let's get to it!

My photos since last Friday start with Dylan's performance to conclude ballet camp and then the awesome night out hubs and I had at 610 Magnolia (review here). So much fun! So proud of our little dancer and I love date night!!

This Target jumpsuit... Love it.
Will be included in an upcoming summer outfit post!

The next day after that we were up bright and early for a quick trip to Arkansas to watch my sis-in-law perform in the musical Annie. She was FABULOUS!! We had a super fun family dinner in a private room at a Japanese steak house before the show and the girls got to meet the real life "Sandy" from the production after the show was over!! I love my big crazy family so much and cherish any time we get to spend with them because it's few and far between. It was a short trip but SUCH a great time!!

Road trip!

Hibachi is always so fun!

This picture... makes my heart hurt.
Makes me realize how short time is... :(

Soooo excited to see this AWESOME goldendoodle in person!

We've been busy with activities this week but the highlight was definitely the Louisville Zoo! The kids were SO excited to see Emily, the zebra baby, and she came RUNNING when they called her! How adorable is that?? She stayed right up next to the fence until we walked away!

So fun to take friends with us!!

We love the rhinos!

How precious is this baby??

So sweet!!

And last night... OMG. I went to a drag show featuring Raven from RuPaul's Drag race, but that craziness is getting its own post! LOL! And a parting picture from the humongous cat that sits on me to wake me up every morning.... Surely this happens to someone besides me?? Haha! Have a great weekend! :)

Time to GET UPPPPP! :(

Friday iPhone Photo Dump

Whew.... what a week. Today I'm linking up with Jennifer over at Ramblings of a Suburban Mom to clear out the week's photos. Again, I'll be sharing but not deleting most of them.... Haha!

The main focus of this week has been my 9 year old Dylan's surgery on Wednesday. Argh.... the stress. She was born with cleft lip/palate and this was her 4th procedure as a result of that. It's been more stressful than the others because she was just so much older and more AWARE this time, you know? Here's the before and afters from her visit last fall and one of angel face on the loopy meds before they took her back. This surgery was to perform a bone graft from her hip to replace missing facial bone. I'm working on a post about the miracles involved in these procedures and am excited to share her progress over the years. She is SUCH a strong and awesome kid. We are so proud of her and love her to pieces!!

This week also saw our final recital of the year, Dylan's solo voice performance. She sang "Part of Your World" and just absolutely killed it again! Isn't our loose interpretation of Ariel for her costume cute?? So proud!

The continued awesome weather around here provided lots of nature opportunities! Ma and Pa have been here all week which has meant marshmallow roasts on the deck each night! We've had a tent out there most of the week, too, and the girls and Papa camped out one night - using the word "camp" loosely - there was an air mattress involved and the deck is 20 feet off the ground, so animals and creepers are at a minimum! I don't know if there's any happier sound than two girls giggling their heads off in a tent with their daddy! :)

We also had some continued success with our caterpillar habitats, with another fatty moth hatching. This has been SO much fun for all of us - but a little weird for people who see the poop filled habitats in our kitchen for the first time! Haha! We finally figured out the secret to success - find where the caterpillars came from, see what they are eating, and use that the replenish their habitats each day! It's been awesome! And we also got some quality playing time in with a snake that Papi caught - girls loved it and hated to let it go! Only in Kentucky?? Lolz!

On a parting note, will somebody please make me this Louboutin cake for my bday next month?? Thanks so much! Smooches! ;)
