LUSH goodies!!

Don't forget to enter my August Giveaway while you're here! :D

So my sweet in-laws gave me some LUSH goodies for my birthday! Woot!! I used to use TONS of LUSH - and piles of the Karma fragrance specifically. Somewhere along the way I got a little brainwashed into the world of Aveda....  Not sure how that happened??

Anyways, I was excited to get some new stuff to try! I usually keep bath bombs but was out, so those were much appreciated!  I had eyed the Beach Box but just hadn't gone for it on my own! Here's what all I got!

* Happy Birthday Gift Box *

This box contained 6 bath bombs and bubble bars! Yay!! The ones included are (clockwise from top left):

Avobath - an instant jolt of invigorating lemongrass-scented energy and fizz for rainy days or gray mornings. Who has time for a bath first thing in the morning??? Maybe on vacation?? LOL

Comforter Bubble Bar - oh, this one is fab. It's one of my FAVORITES, second only to the Karma bubble bar! A warm blackcurrant fragrance and "passionately purple water." Can't wait to use this!!

Big Blue - lavender and lemon oil and a great blue color. Sea salt and seaweed help make the ocean experience even more authentic. I've had this one before and it's awesome!

Pop in the Bath - A calming lemon, bergamot and mandarin bubble bath. I've had this one before but don't remember it!

Fizzbanger - an alluring apple and spice bath bomb, it's supposed to "go off in the bath water as if it were loaded with fireworks." um, what? LOL! Can't wait to try this one!

Phoenix Rising - a gold-dusted bath bomb that sinks to the bottom of the tub and slowly rises up while fizzing out a spicy cinnamon and apple scent. Excited to try this one!

* Special Edition Summer Beach Box *

"celebrate summer with five of our most popular beach-inspired products! We love the way the sand and ocean make our skin feel, which is why we use fresh ingredients straight from the sea in our products, like brightening sea salt, mineral-rich sea water and softening seaweed."

Seanik Solid Shampoo Bar - I had forgotten that LUSH makes these! You get it wet, lather it up and wash your hair with it. Then it dries solid again like a bar of soap. I used to pack these for airplane travel and they were perfect! Excited to have one again!

Dream Cream Hand and Body Lotion - a blend of oat milk, lavender and chamomile that's a LUSH bestseller. A great basic hand cream, I've got this on my nightstand!

Ocean Salt Face and Body Scrub - I don't know if I've ever used a scrub from LUSH?? I certainly can't remember using one. Excited to try it. I like my body scrubs super gritty and I have big hopes for this one!

Sea Vegetable Soap - this bar soap looks seriously like it's straight from the sea. The smell is earthy (like lots of LUSH products) and it contains skin softening sea weed. I've got this on my bathroom vanity and have been using it instead of my regular liquid hand soap. It's been fun for a change!

Sea Spray Hair Mist - my naturally curly hair definitely isn't the prime candidate for all the sea salt sprays on the market right now. The girls love playing with them, though, so this goes into their makeup kit!

One thing I've always loved about LUSH is the fresh and natural ingredients. It's so neat to see specific made on dates and expiration dates - and to see who made your products! I'd love to have little stickers of myself like this! LOL!

Have you tried any of the products I got? Which bath product would you use first?? I'll have to use Comforter first but can't wait to try Fizzbanger and Phoenix! Is there a LUSH product that you adore?? I'm wondering what I've missed in the last couple of years!  I'm excited to be thinking "LUSH" again!!

  1. I JUST discovered Lush on Sunday. I was in their store (I had never heard of it before) and I didn't have much time, but I immediately went for 2 face masks. I got Mask of Magnaminty and Brazened Honey and I love them!! I plan to try more!
