December 2013 Empties

Took me a little while to get to my empties this month but finally, here we go!

Each month I save up things that the fam and I have completely used up and finished. We have tons of new and partially used goodies around our home and I started this project to motivate me to try some new things. It's so easy to just reach for the same thing again and again, you know?? It's actually been really fun and I hope you enjoy this monthly peek "behind the scenes," too!

I include bath and body products - except things that are obviously too TMI! haha! - and some household things that I feel strongly enough about to share! Let's see what we got into in December!!

Bath & Shower Stuff
1. Library of Flowers The Forest Bubble Bath - this stuff.... OMG. So good! I received this in my PopSugar Fall Style 2013 box and it's huge - 32 ounces. I was never going to get to it as a bubble bath so I used it as a daily shower gel. The smell is woodsy and kind of manly and the stuff is so moisturizing and luxurious. It was truly fab and I loved every last drop of it!

2. Mr. Bubble 3 in 1 Bubble Bath - I had forgotten all about Mr. Bubble! I loved this stuff as a kid! I got this sample in a Pinch Me box of freebies and it was plenty for a foamy bubble bath for the girls. They loved it!

3. LUSH Karma Bubble Bar and Bath Melt - I ended the month of December with a killer cold (missed New Year's and everything!) and super hot baths were heaven. The Karma scent from LUSH has long been my favorite and the Karma bath melt has the added fun of leaving tons of super fine gold glitter everywhere! Love.

4. Raw Minerals Sport Fix Soap - I bought this for the hubby in the Birchbox shop with points. He was excited to try it and it's black, due to carbon content?, which is fun. He never gives me feedback so I'm assuming it's fine. I'm personally not a big fan of the black stuff it's leaving all over the shower!

Stuff the Girls Used
5. Flintstones & Disney Vitamins - Kroger keeps giving me vitamins for free and I keep taking them! :) No problems with any of these, the girls wolfed them right down. The sour Flintstones vitamins are their favorites!

6. Travel Samples:

- Lanvin Orange Ambre Shower Gel - I still have a small stash of these Lanvin toiletries from a hotel stay in Beverly Hills. So posh!
- Disney H2O Shampoo & Conditioner - the girls love the mouse!
- Spa Terre Coconut Mango Shampoo and Body Wash - We picked these up at our hotel stay in Ft. Lauderdale and they are truly fab! I would buy this entire line in a heartbeat!

7. Aim Kids Bubble Berry Toothpaste - This stuff is dirt cheap and is the girls' favorite!

Body Stuff
8. Bath & Body Works Shea Cashmere Hand Cream - I don't know that this stuff is uber moisturizing but I would buy it again based on the scent alone. It's a heavenly version of shea butter that smells good enough to eat!

9. Origins Ginger Souffle Whipped Body Cream - The ginger scent is to die for, the moisturizing is unfortunately lacking. Le sigh.

10. Julep Pink Grapefruit Body Frosting - This stuff wasn't the most moisturizing but it was fun! The smell is so happy and bright and the consistency is just like rich frosting!

11. Infinity Sun Glow on the Go - I received this self tanner in the FabFitFun Summer 2013 box and it is pretty much perfect. It was so easy to pack on our November cruise and the color is so uniform and natural. This small 3 ounce can lasted a long time. Huge fan!

Misc Home Things

12. Bath and Body Works Hot Buttered Rum Candle - Well, I'm officially back on board with the B&BW three wick candles. This one was fabulous and scented a massive space. Love.
13. Wet Ones Travel Pack - How does anybody, mom or otherwise, get by without Wet Ones stashed everywhere??

14. Pac Man Bandages - I keep buying these from the $1 spot at Target! The kids love them and we go through lots of bandaids. I don't mind so much when they are only a dime each! ;)

Face Care
15. Simple Eye Makeup Remover Wipes - I received these wayyyyy back in the Allure Summer Must Haves box and fell in love. Then.... this pack. They were kind of dry and didn't work very well. After multiple awesome packs, this one was definitely a disappointment. I'll try again, though! Hopefully this one was just a rare dud!

16. Elsor Skincare Kit - I received this four step skincare system in the December Birchbox. The cleanser and the mask were nice. The lotion wasn't hydrating enough for my parched winter skin. The scrub was not my favorite. You have to mix it with a few drops of water to kind of liquify it for use. Then I did that, it seemed kind of runny overall with huge chunks in it? My overall impression of the line is definitely higher end and luxurious and I would be happy to have more of the cleanser or mask!

Makeup
17. Pacifica Alight BB Cream - This stuff was.... Fine. I like that it's layerable for more coverage (most BB/CC creams are) but I was unable to figure out if it contains SPF? Since I wasn't sure, I had to use SPF as a separate step and wouldn't buy again for that reason.

18. Bare Minerals Mineral Veil - I used up this little powder container on my kiddo to finish her dance performance makeup. I love the idea of using purer products on the kiddos!

19. Maybelline Rocket Volum' Mascara - Nope. Do not buy this!! Nobody's a bigger fan of Maybelline mascaras than me, I've sworn by them since I was a kid. But this stuff??? It literally made my lashes fall out. There were nights I had 5 or 6 lashes on my remover pad!!!!! Crazy.

20. Juice Beauty Oil-Free Moisturizer - This stuff was not nearly as intense as I need a winter moisturizer to be. I think I was definitely expecting it to be as good at the Juice Beauty Stem Cellular line but it definitely didn't seem as nice.

Hair Stuff
21. Pantene Beautiful Lengths Conditioner x 2 - I've said it before, but I keep coming back to Pantene products, no matter what I try at any price point. This Beautiful Lengths line is the only stuff that has ever prompted the "your hair has gotten SO LONG!" comment from my hairstylist. The girls use it, too!

22. Aveda Rosemary Mint Conditioner - I think this might actually be the end of the Aveda goodies I stockpiled last summer on a trip to Cancun :(

23. TreSemme' Platinum Strength Heat Protect Spray - I'm kind of obsessive about protective sprays. This one seemed to work just fine at a fraction of the price of salon brands.

24. Philip B. Maui Wowie - Ok, ok, I'm finally sold on surf spray. This stuff was amazing for my curly hair - I could air dry and come away with tons of volume and perfectly defined but not TOO neat curls. Another hit from the FabFitFun Summer box. Love.

What do you think?? Do you see anything you love on this list?? I'm so nosy by nature and I'd LOVE to see your empties! I'm going to attach a monthly linkup, if anyone else wants to play along! Grab a bag and start saving them up! You might just be surprised at how much - or how little - you actually consume!!

November 2013 Empties

Here we go again! This time with a linkup, in case anybody wants to play along (MommySplurge, I'm looking at you!)!

Let's see what we got into in November!!

Home stuff

1. Target Milk and Honey Hand Soap Refill - how do we go through so many of these huge things??? I've been so happy with this as a replacement to the anti-bacterial soaps from Bath & Body works. Trying to build our immune systems up a bit! ;)

2. Sundance Farms Lemon Soap - have you ever been to Sundance?? It is one of our favorite places ever. These little fab handmade soaps are stocked in the rooms and are so fun to bring home!

3. Kroger hand wipes - yay! Love some wet wipes! This can got used up in the car. We spend wayyyy too much time in that place and wind up eating in there way too often!

4. Pac Man Band Aids - I've bought lots of these on the $1 Spot at Target and they continue to be a hit with the girls! And me, too!

5. Farmer's Market Lemongrass Basil Soap - I received this bar as a freebie from Swaggable and sat it out on a dish by the kitchen sink. That's definitely out of my comfort zone, I prefer pump soap, but this has been a nice surprise. The soft, foamy lather has actually been easy on my hands - which are so sad and dry through the winter! And I like the idea of using a certified organic product on my hands before food prep!

6. Glade Pumpkin Pie candle - I bought a bunch of these for $1.49 on clearance at Kroger and I love them! I feel like these little one wick candles are more fragrant than some of the 3 wick ones I've bought at B&BW lately!

7. Bath & Body Works Pocket Hand Sanitizer - back to the time of year when we use TONS of these. The "bones" smell from Halloween was really the worst thing ever - it smelled absolutely disgusting and stayed on my hands forever, like I had been handling real bones or something?? Definitely a "trick"! LOL

Face care

8. Clean and Clear Morning Burst Face Wash - yes, I'm still using some products that I loved when I was a teenager! LOL This bottle sat in the shower and was good for a quick face wash at odd times in between regular skincare regimen.

9. Juice Beauty Stem Cellular Repair Moisturizer - I received this in the June PopSugar box and was happy with it. It was a great basic moisturizer, especially during warmer weather. And this 1.7 oz jar lasted me FOREVER. Seriously. I didn't think I'd ever get to the end of it! The container is still one of my favorite features (see it here) and I loved that I felt like I used up every last drop.

10. Mary Kay Eye Makeup Remover - I ordered this to help out a friend and... Eh. It's not better (and maybe even a little oiler and less effective) than the Target brand bottle the girls have in their makeup kit. Wouldn't buy again.

11. Dickinson's Witch Hazel Towelettes - I received a big box of these way back in the Allure Summer box and still use them from time to time. Idk that they get my face super clean but they work well as a pre-clean step and are awesome for things like hands and flip flop feet!

Body stuff

12. Tree Hut Moroccan Rose Renewing Hand Cream - I received this wayyyy back in a Cravebox and, um, it's pretty bad. Runny and not moisturizing at all and the super strong rose scent is definitely not my fave. But did I use it ALL? Of course. It WAS lotion, after all! ;)

13. Angel's Magic NHEB-05 Lotion - tiny little sample from the November Blush Beauty box. Smelled nice in a clean baby kind of way, not nearly rich and moisturizing enough for my dry winter skin.

14. Out the Door Quick Dry Topcoat - love love love this stuff. I lost this bottle months ago and finally found it. It's gone all gummy and needs to be pitched but I've bought replacements in the meantime!

15. Tan Towels - I know people have dramatically different feelings about these but they have always worked well for me. I use them to start my base fake tan before a vacation!

More Body Stuff

16. Nair Shower Power - hmm... This stuff was interesting. Sometimes at cheer/dance competitions they give away freebies and we all came away with these a while back. My girls are still too young, so they went to me! ;) This is a new take on Nair. You apply it and wait a minute then you can start your shower while it finishes working. You remove it with the little scrubby pad that's included. Worked fine, but I've gotten chemical burns from Nair more than once. I can only leave it on about half the time!

17. Portico White Ginger Bar Soap - hubs loves bar soaps with the bumps in soap shape and the scrubby particles in the soap itself! The girls loved the smell of this one, too!

18. Lush Dreamtime Bath Bar - like all Lush products, I adore the smell of this!! It left my skin moisturized enough after a bath that I actually skipped lotion. I wouldn't rebuy this specific bar, though, because it has little real flower parts in it. They are cute floating around during the bath but I don't like having to clean things out before I drain the tub. Lazy? Maybe. But I'm RELAXED after a bath and don't want to clean! Haha!

19. Vitamine & Sea shaving cream - B received this sample in his November Birchbox Man but I wound up finishing it off! The stuff is super smooth and moisturizing without clogging up and dulling my razor. Loved it, was sorry to see the price - close to $40. Can't justify that for shaving cream.... Maybe I'll save up my Birchbox points! ;)

Stuff the Hubby Used

20. Bath and Body Works Mentha Exfoliating Bar Soap - so, we were in B&BW and hubs is joking around about how little he cares about all of the girly stuff in there and, next thing I know, he has wandered off and picked up three of these! I had kind of forgotten about them, I used to buy them for him all the time. He loves them!!

21. Anthony Logistics Facial Scrub - when I ask for an opinion on a men's product, the hubs usually gives me a review like "my face feels clean...". So, I'm taking the fact that he used the whole tube as a sign that he liked it okay!

22. Antony Logistics Shave Cream - Another Anthony Logistics product. I want to love Anthony products, I really do, but I can't find one that I feel is any better than average, this shave cream included. Anyone??? The stuff's not cheap, they have to make something that's fabulous!!

23. Ursa Major Essential Face Wipe - hubby received these in his October Birchbox Man and says they are "fine".... Men! ;) He always washes his face as soon as he gets home from work and I'm sure he appreciated the convenience of these.

Stuff the Kids Used

24. Disney Omega -3 Vitamins - uh, no. Don't know what is off about these but my girls literally gagged on them several times because of the taste. They wound up rinsing them down unswallowed and that was after I compromised and gave them 1/2 dose of these and 1/2 dose of other vitamins just to use them up. The worst part is that a dose is FOUR gummies. Bless their hearts, they don't know that I have another bottle in the pantry that we need to use! LOL!

25. Disney Gummies vitamins - These, on the other hand, are always a hit. Kroger keeps giving them to me, so I keep taking them! Haha! The girls love these, obviously taste and texture are good!

26. The girls continue to work through our excess guest room supplies - we apparently need more guests and fewer hotel stays! LOL!
- Disney H2O conditioner and bar soap - love having Mickey to use at home!!
- Lanvin orange amber shampoo - these Lanvin toiletries were picked up during a Beverly Hills hotel stay and are every bit as posh as you would expect!
- C. O. Bigelow Peppermint Conditioner - smells sooooo good!! Wish we had more, it's a perfect scent for the holidays!!

- Portico white ginger conditioner - nothing special, too runny for my conditioner preferences

Hair Stuff

27. Pantene Curly Dry to Moisturized Shampoo - no matter what I try, I always come back to Pantene. This sat side by side with a $24 eight ounce bottle of Living Proof Shampoo and I reached for this one almost every time!

28. Umberto Beverly Hills Dry Shampoo - nope, not a fan. This stuff sprays on super white, which left my dark roots looking super grey. Fail.

29. Clairol Nice'n Easy Root Touch-Up - well, it was time to face the facts, my roots are sad and looking old! Haha! Back in the day, I dyed my hair at home every color under the rainbow. This was the first time I've tried to do just roots and I was worried about the color messing up my ombre. Ombre is fine, grays are gone, done at home in 20 minutes total for less than $6. I'm a fan!!!

30. Alterna Caviar Anti-Aging Dry Shampoo - another dry shampoo fail for me due to white powder on dark roots. Is there brown dry shampoo??? Surely there is and I'm just missing it. And, side note, this stuff smelled like fish. No lie. Gross.

31. Andre Walker Keratin Shampoo - I used the conditioner half of this set up in September and I felt the same way about the shampoo. My hair looked moisturized to the point of almost greasy. My hair was weighed down and just really not a fan. I used the remainder of this bottle in the same way as the conditioner - on the dog! ;)

32. Fekkai Advanced Brilliant Glossing - this cream is supposed to add shine and tame frizz. It seemed to do those things well enough but I felt like it weighed down my curls so I wouldn't buy.

Cruise Empties
Ok, here's how dedicated I am (obsessed? lol). When we were on a cruise Thanksgiving week, I took a pic of the things we used up before I pitched them! Appreciate my thoroughness?? haha

33. Coconut Mango Bar Soaps - We stayed at the fabulous Grand Pelican in Ft. Lauderdale before our cruise and I snagged a bunch of bathroom goodies. I was concerned about the toiletries that would be provided in our stateroom and rightly so! We wound up using tons of our own stuff! These little bar soaps smelled perfect for a tropical getaway! Love.

34. Water Babies SPF 50 - It's not a day in the sun for my girls and me unless there's SPF 50 involved! ;) Love this sunscreen. Just runny enough to go on smoothly and easily. No complaints with this one!

35. Philosophy Amazing Grace Shower Gel - This stuff is a classic and for good reason. One of the best scents out there, hands down. A perfect gift! Anyone will love this stuff!!

36. Aveda All-Sensitive Lotion - Eh, I love some Aveda, but this stuff was definitely runnier than I like lotion to be. The girls would try to get a little and wind up with a huge handfull everytime!

37. Hair Clip - Ok, random thing, but I include it as an FYI. My very favorite hair clips, they are sold in the Morocco part of EPCOT in DisneyWorld! I buy half a dozen each time we're there and use them until they totally give up, like this one!

38. Sesha Anti-Wrinkle Mask - The good? My skin looked and felt plump, super hydrated and amazing after use. The bad? The thing was super slimy and awkward and kept falling and sliding off my face! I would buy for sure, I would just make sure I reclined on a couch for these 15-20 minutes next time! ;)

October 2013 Empties

Time again to take pics of a month's worth of trash like a crazy hoarder! Loves it! hahaha

Let's see what we got into in October!!

1. Victoria's Secret Lotion in My Desire - this stuff is horrible and the fact that the bottle is empty tells me two things (1) I truly am a lotion-aholic and will use just about anything (2) I have REAL issues with waste/throwing stuff away! This stuff is runny, completely non-moisturizing, and probably sold solely to add fragrance to the body but the fragrance is artificially floral and horrible. Not a fan, can you tell??? LOL

2. Desert Essence Organics Spicy Citrus Lotion - ok... Honestly, I bought this stuff on clearance at TJ Maxx forEVER ago, so it should have been no surprise when I went to use it and it was a runny, smelly awful mess. Seriously, I was so gross out about how it smelled that I put some tanner over it because even self tanner smelled better than this!!! LOL

3. Flowerbomb Bomblicious Body Cream, full size and travel size - oh Flowerbomb.... This has been my hands down fave fragrance for years. Loved keeping this on my nightstand to put on my hands at night - kept my bed and bedroom smelling like Flowerbomb all the time!! :)

4. MOR Snow Gardenia Hand Cream - I received this in my August Blush Beauty box and it was WONDERFUL. I love the chic black and gold packaging and the smell is heavenly. It worked perfectly on my dry upper arms, which scented lotions rarely do. Love.

5. Burt's Bees Coconut Foot Creme - there was a time when this stuff came in a metal (?) squeeze tube and it was basically a miracle product. No matter how dry and sad my heels were, one application of this under a pair of socks and they were almost perfect the next morning. Somewhere along the way it has lost something.... Still love that it's 99.40% natural, but I'm sad that it's not good enough to rebuy at this point.

6. The Body Shop Mango Body Butter - loved this little size to keep in my purse. Body Shop body butters are wonderful!

7. Woodwick Candle - omg.... I am including this candle because it has driven hubs and I absolutely nuts and we seriously did a happy dance when it finally died!!!! It is supposed to sound like a crackling fire but the noise seriously made us double take a million times thinking we had left something boiling/cooking/burning in the kitchen. It smelled nice but never again!!!

8. Soap & Glory Look Better NAKED Body Butter - I'm serious about my body butter. Bliss makes my favorite, The Body Shop is second place. This stuff smelled floral and great but wasn't nearly as thick and uber moisturizing as I want a body butter to be

9. Bath & Body Works Sweet Cinnamon Pumpkin candle - boo! These are another thing that seem to have decreased in quality. B&BW candles used to scent my whole house when burning, this one barely - BARELY - scented the room where it was lit. Unimpressed and won't be buying more for a while. It'd the end of an era!!

10. Olay 4-in-1 Daily Facial Cloths - I received these in my Martha stewart Glossybox and was happy to have them! They are perfect to pack when traveling - they are completely dry until you're ready to use them. They foam up nicely with water and they have a great waffle texture that seems to really scrub. A+! Love products that streamline packing and make regular routine easier!!

11. Dickinson's Witch Hazel Towelettes - I received these way back in my Allure summer must haves box and still have a few around! Love wet wipes for a million things, including cleaning dirty flip flop feet!

12. Hydroxatone Revitalizing Microdermabrasion - I received this in my July Blush Beauty box and was determined to use it with an open mind. My skin is not overly sensitive, but it tends to do better when kind of left alone, and that was true after this product. I followed the directions and used it every other day for a week and then took a week off to give my skin a rest. At the end of the rest week I still had some spots of irritation and, seriously, I didn't scrub aggressively or anything when I used this. I love the idea of deep cleaning but so far all of the more serious scrubs like this that I've used have just been too much for my skin.

13. Bliss The Youth as we Know It Serum - idk that I saw much difference from this serum but I love the fact that committing to using it got me into the habit of using a serum before moisturizing! I figure any extra dose of vitamins and goodies is great for my skin right now as we head into the holiday craziness and what's supposed to be a super harsh winter (boo)!

14. Em by Michelle Phan The Life Palette - this was a bonus item in my September Ipsy bag and I was excited to use it! These Em kits are geared towards occasions and this one was Career Life look 3 Out to Lunch. The colors seem super high quality and highly pigmented. I was so surprised by the multiple uses I got off of this card! The blush was too orange for me and the eyeshadows too dark for what I like to wear for daytime, but I liked it overall and will look for some of her other products!

15. Maybelline Fit Me Foundation Sample Sheet - this is the first sample I received after requesting several from the Target freebie page and... Well... There just wasn't much to it. I like the shine free concept, especially in light of all the super greasy CC and BB creams I've tried lately, but I was disappointed in the sample format, just a tiny spot of sample on peel back paper. Definitely not enough to get a true feel for the product.

16. Lady Speed Stick and Dove deodorants - ugh, including because they are horrible. Do these kinds of products actually work for anyone??? Maybe I'm just sweatier/stinkier than most! LOL!

17. Old Spice Fiji Anti-Perspirant and Deodorant - continues to be borderline tmi, continue to include it because it's the best ever - for him AND me! ;)

18. Disney Gummies vitamins - Kroger keeps giving me vitamins, so I keep taking them! The kids love Perry the platypus! LOL

19. Guest room excess -
- Portico conditioner - thin and runny and nothing special
- Etro bath foam and Zenology Body Wash - fancy products, they had no respect and used them to shampoo barbie mermaids! LOL!
- h2O Disney shampoo and conditioner - love having these little bits of Disney to use once we're back at home!
- various play makeup and perfume. Thanks so all of mom's subscription boxes, their play makeup is getting classier by the day! ;)

- Little tube of bubble gum Crest toothpaste - they love this stuff!

20. Clinique Men's Face Wash - the hubs used it and.... He's a man. I ask his opinion on something and he shrugs and goes, "good."

21. Laura Mercier Oil Free Tinted Moisturizer - I've been a devoted Laura Mercier tinted moisturizer fan for years. I prefer the regular formula, and bought this oil-free formula by mistake, but it's fine, too, and lightyears ahead of most BB/CC/DD creams I've tried.

22. Maybelline Mega Plush Mascara - I'm serious about lashes, and have tried everything, and Maybelline mascaras remain my favorite!!

23. Juice Beauty Stem Cellular Repair CC Cream in Natural Glow - Received in the June PopSugar box, this color is really, really light - as in I felt like I was smearing the color white on my face. Once it settles, it's not quite THAT white, but it's still too light for my skin tone. Like the darker tube I used up in September, this tube was also greasy/oilier than I like my face to look

24. EOS Shave Cream - terrible. TERRIBLE. I got this for free after rebate at Walgreens and it's horrible. It is so thick and goopy, it basically ruins a razor the first time you use it. Awful.

(listed below clockwise from top left)

25. Colgate toothpaste foil packs - I've never seen these little travel packs for sale? have you? We got them in a hotel, I think, but they are perfect for overnight guests!

26. Kiehl's Blue Astringent Herbal Lotion - ok, the stuff is not a  lotion consistency.  It's runny and I used it on a cotton ball like any other astringent. The stuff smells VERY antiseptic and minty, seriously, like putting mouthwash on your face. Seemed to work ok but couldnt get past the mediciney smell.

27. Ursa Major Essential Face Wipes - these came in the October Birchbox Man box and I knew hubs would love them! He always washes his face firt thing when he gets home from work and these were gone in a snap!

28. Vichy ProEVEN Daily Dark Spot Corrector - ugh, these little foil pouches. Occasionally there's enough to get a real feel for a product. usually, like this one, there's not. I used this on a couple of breakouts and was left with zero impression that it sped up the healing process but who knows.

29. Alchimie Forever Rejuvenating Eye Balm - this little foil pack lasted a long time and was decent! It is a little more runny than I like for an eye cream, more in the direction of a serum, but it seemed nice and refreshing under my eyes in the early morning!

30. Vichy Liftactiv Eye Cream - Again, it's so hard to get a real feel for a product from a foil pack but I probably won't buy this one simply because the cream is thick and requires some manipulation to get it to soak in. I definitely like a rich eye cream but I want to touch the delicate eye area as little as possible.

31. Viva la Juicy perfume, regular and travel size - love Juicy Couture. Those stores are seriously one of my happy places and this stuff smells JUST LIKE the stores do inside! Unfortunately, the scent doesn't seem to last very long (at all) but it made me happy every single time I sprayed it, so it's a win!

32. Kroger Nail Polish Remover - three girls and all painting all nails on the regular, we got through lots of remover. I'm sure there's some reason we shouldn't use cheapy kinds like this, but I usually just grab a bottle whenever we need one wherever we happen to be!

33. Lipocils Expert Eyelash Treatment - I received this is my October Blush Beauty box and was excited to get it! I'm serious about lashes and have been wanting to try a serum like this. I thought from the bottle that it was going to be a nice, generous sample. It definitely had very little product in it, though, so it was gone in less than a week, not enough time to really get a feel for it. It did leave my eyes kind of itchy a couple of times, so I wouldn't rebuy. Does anyone have an eyelash treatment like this that they love??

34. Fusion Beauty Illumifill Eye roller - finally used the last of my rollerballs. I've yet to find one I love but am on the lookout for the one from Simple, I hear great things about it!

35. Julep Strawberry Mint Lip Balm - this was a bonus item in my Julep Miami Mystery box and it was awesome. Super smooth and soft lip balm and the scent is truly addicting. I try to wear products with SPF during the day so this got used up at night and when indoors. Would buy again in a heartbeat, but I think its discontinued!

36. Airbrush Eye Cream - I received this generous sample twice before in my Blush Mystery boxes and I had really come to love it. I was on the verge of ordering a full size when I received this sample so I was pumped to have it. For some reason, this one was different, though. Super thick and almost hard consistency, burned my eyes.... Idk what the difference is but I was sad it didn't work out (but glad it saved me from spending on full size!).

37. Nail file and toe separators eaten by the schnauzer - RIP toe separators and everything else the dog has chewed up this month! :-/

38. Kitsch Hair Ties - ok, we've been into these for long enough that some are getting twisted up and worn out. Soon it will be time to DIY some more - read my super easy DIY for these!

39. Crest Toothpaste - still borderline tmi, still including it to tell the secrets of a dentist's family! LOL! Just about done with the Crest around here and going to try something new for a while!

What do you think?? Do you see anything you love on this list?? I'm so nosy by nature and I'd LOVE to see your empties for October! I'd like to start a monthly linkup for this, if anyone else wants to play along let me know! Grab a bag and start saving them up! You might just be surprised at how much - or how little - you actually consume!!
