Friday iPhone Photo Dump Linkup!

TGIF!!! YAYyyyy!! Time to link up with Jennifer over at Ramblings of a Suburban Mom to clear out the phone pictures of the week!

SHEW. First week of the school year is in the books and, MAN, 6:15 comes EARLY. We've done great this week but are looking forward to sleeping in a little the next couple of days!!

This week started with an awesome weekend!! We had family over on Friday to host hub's sister and her fiancee, visiting from Texas. It was a GORGEOUS night to play some cornhole and just enjoy the weather!!

Pep thinks everyone is a jungle gym... LOL

Then the weekend ended with a fun night out with friends at Bruno Mars! SOOOoo nice to have some grownup time to cut loose!! Here's my recap of the night out!

Suite = lots of room to get silly!

I have several cute animal pictures this week!

Girls in school = more time for walks = happy Boo!

We <3 all the bunnies in the neighborhood!! They aren't even scared anymore! :)

Chewy the squirrel is settling in nicely...

All of the rain has brought SO MANY rainbows this week! Loves it!!

Hoping to get into something exciting tomorrow night!! Have a great weekend everyone!! :D

Friday iPhone photo dump linkup

Time to link up with Jennifer over at Ramblings of a Suburban Mom for the weekly photo dump! Yay!

Woot! It's the weekend! This has been a crazy, emotional week and I'm excited it's drawing to a close! We are going to the Louisville Bats baseball game tonight and I can't WAIT. I LOVE baseball but unfortunately the hubs hates it... He humors me once or twice a summer and sits through a game and I'm looking SO forward to it!

So what have we been up to this week? Lots and lots of pool time! It was so cool at the start of summer and has been SO HOT here the last couple of weeks. This week has been right in the middle and kind of perfect to be outside!

Riding boots with suit? Why not? ;)

Floats that are impossible to get on are the most fun! LOL!

I got a little crafty and finally made the "Flight Crew" tank I've been contemplating for my sweet little cheerleading flyer. Turned out cute and she loves it!

I've made a couple of trips to the Target end of summer clearance and my best purchases so far have been this crappy slip n slide and the pink lemonade cookie mix and frosting! The pool floats above have more than paid for their $2 each in entertainment so far, too!!

Crazy amount of fun!

Had a blast making them with the girls!
We passed them out in the neighborhood! :)

Working on a MAJOR sugar high! LOL!

Am I the only person who has lots of random celeb "looks" saved on my phone?? I do this all the time and scroll through them for inspiration. I'm hoping to get motivated to start doing a "look for less" type thing of some of my favorites. This look from Miranda Kerr is one I've been loving lately!!

Much of our stress this week has come from worrying about Boo, our 9 month old schuanzer. She went in to get spayed and they found an abnormality with her liver. It's still not fully diagnosed, we go in for an ultrasound on Monday. She's become such a huge part of our family and we're all pretty worried about her. :(

The girls take turns with Boo in their beds each night.
So precious!

I've started the major hunt for a dress to wear to the Emmy's in September! I thought this Michael Kors was going to be IT, but it was just not quite right...

Pretty major!

That's about it! I can really feel summer starting to wind down now and it makes me sad. Where does it always go so fast??? The girls are SO excited to start school in a couple of weeks but I love having them home!

Family Road Trip through Missouri! (Friday photo dump)

Be sure to enter my Blush Beauty June Box giveaway worth $100 while you're here!

This little travel entry is going to be my link up with Jennifer over at Ramblings of a Suburban Mom for the weekly iPhone photo dump! :)

As part of our 4th of July celebrations we made the trek from Louisville to far far away in Missouri. The halfway point was St. Louis, so we made that our home base and kind of built a little mini-vacay around it! We took the schnauzer Miss Boo Bitty with us, which added to the element of adventure! Haha! There's nothing like a good family road trip, really! We all had a blast!

We stayed at the pet-friendly Hyatt by the Arch. The girls put some charm on the desk worker and got us a room with a view of the river, Arch and grounds. It was awesome! We also had a great view of the park across the street from the hotel and the girls LOVED sitting in the little jutted out window and watching the people and the horse carriages down on the street!

Boo loved looking out the windows, too!

After a great dinner at the Brewhouse, we took Boo Boo across to the Riverside Park and played until the sun went down. It was gorgeous and there were so many people out just enjoying the pleasant night. We walked down and looked at the river and answered lots of questions about whirlpools and Huckleberry Finn (no, we aren't going swimming in the river, Pep).

All the fun was hard on Boo! LOL!

The next day hubs took the girls up in The Arch. I grew up spending lots of time in St. Louis with family in the area and then I lived there for three years of law school. I've been up in the Arch three times (2x too many! haha!) so I entertained Boo while they took the tour. Needless to say, I don't know if any of them want to do it again, but it's something everyone should experience once, just to say you have!

Looks perfectly safe, right?? ;)

What a cutie pie trio!

After the Arch, we finished the drive to the reunion. Like so much of this awesome country, it's so nice to go down a few winding country roads and wind up in a place where you can still enjoy the beauty and vastness of the land! There was a pond to play/canoe in, lots of gravel to shoot fireworks on, so much family food and fun!!

Back in St. Louis the next day, we had an awesome traditional St. Louis lunch at Imo's and spent the afternoon at Grant's Farm. The girls LOVED Grant's Farm, from feeding the goats to petting the Clydesdales!

Early morning in the hotel!
Of course I'll buy the photo,
even in the rain! Haha!

My favorite little goat!
(the barnyard animal was cute, too!)

This child is SO funny.
She could happily live on a farm!

This guy was retired and SO sweet
he kept falling asleep standing there! :)

Precious Clydesdale babies!
5 months old

This trio was so eager to pose for pics! :)

It was such a great trip and so fun to show the girls around one of my hometowns!! Love taking any opportunity to squeeze in some family fun!

Friday iPhone Photo dump

WhoooHoooo! Time again for the weekly photo dump with Jennifer over at Ramblings of a Suburban Mom! Let's get to it!

My photos since last Friday start with Dylan's performance to conclude ballet camp and then the awesome night out hubs and I had at 610 Magnolia (review here). So much fun! So proud of our little dancer and I love date night!!

This Target jumpsuit... Love it.
Will be included in an upcoming summer outfit post!

The next day after that we were up bright and early for a quick trip to Arkansas to watch my sis-in-law perform in the musical Annie. She was FABULOUS!! We had a super fun family dinner in a private room at a Japanese steak house before the show and the girls got to meet the real life "Sandy" from the production after the show was over!! I love my big crazy family so much and cherish any time we get to spend with them because it's few and far between. It was a short trip but SUCH a great time!!

Road trip!

Hibachi is always so fun!

This picture... makes my heart hurt.
Makes me realize how short time is... :(

Soooo excited to see this AWESOME goldendoodle in person!

We've been busy with activities this week but the highlight was definitely the Louisville Zoo! The kids were SO excited to see Emily, the zebra baby, and she came RUNNING when they called her! How adorable is that?? She stayed right up next to the fence until we walked away!

So fun to take friends with us!!

We love the rhinos!

How precious is this baby??

So sweet!!

And last night... OMG. I went to a drag show featuring Raven from RuPaul's Drag race, but that craziness is getting its own post! LOL! And a parting picture from the humongous cat that sits on me to wake me up every morning.... Surely this happens to someone besides me?? Haha! Have a great weekend! :)

Time to GET UPPPPP! :(
